Trailer Bridge is a privately held asset-owned logistics company that transports cargo across land, air, rail, and sea. A leader in transportation services, Trailer Bridge strives to provide customers the best possible service. This commitment to exceptional service has earned Trailer Bridge the Logistics Management Quest for Quality Award as #1 Ocean Carrier and recognition as an Inc Best Workplace in America, #1 Best Place to Work in Jacksonville, and a Fastest Growing Company. Trailer Bridge is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, and operates 12 offices with over 200 employees across North America.
In 2017, Trailer Bridge contracted with ICON for the implementation of a document management and approval system, using ReQlogic to automate this process across their 12 offices. The project was such a success that it became a favorite for executives, due to the time savings and control that it provided. After this experience Trailer Bridge selected ICON as their Microsoft Partner responsible for all their ERP-related applications within the company, which includes real-time integrations to various logistics management systems the company operates.
"Invicta" means "Invincible" in Latin. This company is inspired by innovation and thrives on the brand's consistent quality and personality. Founded over a century ago in 1837 in Chiasso, Switzerland, with the firm belief that high-quality watches can be offered at modest prices, Invicta remains true to this principle today.
Invicta Watch Company selected ICON to support its growing and increasingly complex operations with Microsoft Dynamics GP. This includes its financial and distribution operations, including highly complex integrations and customizations, as well as its warehouse management and EDI system. ICON's support has been critical in replacing outdated processes, creating new reporting and analytics capabilities, and improving day-to-day operations with fast and efficient support and development.
Triten Corporation is a privately held holding company founded in 1946 by Roman F. Arnoldy, with strong roots in the energy, steel, and industrial construction industries. Based in Houston, TX, the corporation continues to evolve by enhancing existing businesses and developing and investing in new ventures. Triten's companies include IAG, specializing in the development, management, and execution of industrial projects; Triten Real Estate Partners, which develops and operates industrial, office, residential, and mixed-use projects; and ARNCO Technologies, which manufactures proprietary technology that extends the lifespan of assets for oil extraction companies.
ICON began working as a support provider for ARNCO's Microsoft Dynamics GP systems in 2014 after several companies failed to meet their service and support expectations. Within a short time, ARNCO was making efficient use of its GP installation and much more, while also achieving significant savings in consulting costs. Today, the entire Triten group of companies is embracing the future together with ICON, and migrating all of its financial operations to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Caribbean Port Services (CPS) manages all operations at Haiti's logistics hub, the modern Port-au-Prince Container Terminal (PAPCT), built with a total investment of approximately US$132 million. CPS is an entity that brings together most of Haiti's shipping agents and private maritime terminal operators, in collaboration with the country's port authority.
When CPS embarked on the ambitious, multi-million dollar project of unifying Haiti's port operations under a single administrative and operational entity, they knew they would need new systems that could adapt to a high-volume operational environment and require rigorous auditing. CPS turned to ICON to implement Dynamics GP to manage their financial operations, leveraging our company's excellent reputation in Haiti's complex business environments. The primary requirement included real-time integration with Cetus Labs' Octopi Terminal Operations Management (TOS) system, which automatically integrates terminal operations with the financial system for customer billing and payments. In addition to this, all financial operations are handled, as well as the payroll for all staff.
El Catador is a Dominican company with over 30 years in the market, dedicated to the import and distribution of leading wine brands from around the world, as well as other beverages. Its passion for and deep understanding of wine have made it a leading company in the Dominican Republic.
El Catador implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP in partnership with ICON to automate all its business processes. ICON installed the initial Windows Server and Dynamics GP infrastructure in the early 2000s. Today, its operational solutions include specialized products for remote sales, warehouse management, and retail point-of-sale systems in its stores, in addition to the wholesale distribution capabilities of Dynamics GP.
The largest tire distributor in the Dominican Republic, carrying brands such as Bridgestone, Firestone, Pirelli, Continental, and Goodyear, HYLSA is the leader in the import and distribution of tires, batteries, and lubricants. They provide prompt and efficient service with the highest quality, consistently meeting and exceeding the expectations of their customers and consumers in the market.
ICON was responsible for implementing the company's financial and distribution platform, based on Microsoft Dynamics GP, enabling growth from one to five branches in just a few years.
Bahamas First is the leading insurance company in the Bahamas, offering peace of mind to its clients across various sectors. It currently has business operations in several Caribbean countries.
ICON was responsible for streamlining Bahamas First's financial and operational processes by implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP in the finance and purchasing departments. Of particular impact in this project was the development of an integration process that allows them to import all claims from their insurance vertical system into Dynamics GP for payment processing – a truly mission-critical process for this type of company.
E-Power is a private company that operates a 30-megawatt power generation plant located in Drouillard, Cité Soleil, Haiti. With a $60 million investment, E-Power returns 40% of that investment annually to the Haitian economy through its operational efficiency and fuel savings.
Part of this operational efficiency is due to the implementation of Dynamics GP, as well as our ReQlogic requisition system, which allows E-Power to provide its employees with the timely and accurate tools and information they need to make the right decisions and manage their operations more efficiently.
Société d’Importation de Produits Alimentaires (SODIPAL) is a Haitian corporation founded in 1991. Over the years, SODIPAL has become one of the leading importers and distributors of food products in the Haitian market. In the last five years, the company has expanded its product portfolio to include hygiene products, cosmetics, and perfumes. SODIPAL is the exclusive distributor of internationally recognized brands such as Evian, Volvic, Elle & Vire, Hera, Ambrosoli, Carozzi, Calvet, Pommery, Cereser, Santa Carolina, and Plagatox, and also has its own private label brands: Delta®, BOBEBE®, Vita®, Lia®, and Nounou®.
ICON was selected to implement a systems solution to support the company's rapid growth. In less than a year, the client went from having an outdated system to a world-class system for its finance, purchasing and customs clearance, inventory, and remote sales departments. Orders now enter the company in real time, and delivery time has been reduced to less than 24 hours.
